
Effective January 1, 2008, Dianne was elected President of the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts, an 1,100-member Chapter of a national professional association. The FPA(r) believes that everyone is entitled to objective advice from a competent, ethical financial planner to make smart financial decisions. FPA members demonstrate a professional commitment to educaton and a client-centered financial planning process.
Beginning September 1, 2007, Dianne serves on a licensee panel providing feedback to Money Quotient, Inc. Money Quotient is a non-profit organization that develops tools and training for financial professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of their clients.
In May 2006, Integrated Financial Strategies, LLC was recognized by the Town of Amesbury for expansion of its business, and ongoing involvement in the Amesbury business community.
Dianne made a presentation entitled, "Retirement: What's Next?" at a March 2006 exhibition sponsored by LiveSouth, a real estate marketing firm. Attendees gathered to learn the ins-and-outs of relocating to warmer climes in favor of a more relaxed lifestyle after leaving the traditional workplace.
October 3-7, 2005 marked Financial Planning Week, a time when financial planners highlight the importance of financial literacy. The FPA of Massachusetts joined with the YWCA, United Way, Department of Labor, and State legislators in community-based activities and expos intended to reach all citizens with this important message.
Dianne attended the Financial Planning Association's National Conference in San Diego, September 14-18, 2005. This meeting of top financial planning professionals provided abundant ideas and resources for retirement planning, particularly lifestyle planning, healthcare, and designing a retirement income.
Friday, July 1, 2005 marked Integrated Financial Strategies' creation of Financial Independence Day, a community service event. The event featured a free "Financial Independence Hotline" for retirement-related questions. In addition, prizes were awarded to four randomly-selected winners.
In February, 2005, Dianne participated in an intensive 2-1/2 day workshop on Financial Life Planning at Money Quotient, Inc., in Poulsbo, WA. The workshop focused on how to align financial advice with the unique set of values, priorities, and circumstances of the individuals and families we serve.
Dianne was awarded the "Certified in Long-Term Care" (CLTC) designation by the Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification in June 2004. The program is independent of the insurance industry and focuses on providing financial professionals the tools they need to meet their clients' long-term care needs.
In January 2004, Dianne was elected to the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts. She serves as the Membership for the Massachusetts Chapter.
